Despite the chilly weather, Show D’s birthday party brought the City of Roses to a standstill as revellers headed to The Thou’ts for the celebration. Vivacious Wandile Msibi from Harrismith was crowned Miss World Junior during a colourful ceremony held in Turkey early this month. This was certainly not Msibi’s first major success, having previously be chosen as the face of Free State Fashion Week. “It doesn’t get bigger and better than this” said the confident 18 year-old currently in Grade 11. “I’ll be lying if I said I had expected to win because much as I was confident going into the competition, I did not expect to be win,” said Msibi.
